Subnautica 2 adaptation route

Subnautica 2 Axum Vision Guide

Axum Vision is the adaptation that makes alien glyphs and Power Plant screens readable. The hard part is not recognizing the reward; it is arriving with the right Bloom-clearing tools and enough route discipline to use it immediately.

Quick answer

Get Axum Vision by completing the later Angel Comb route around Alien Ruins / Karakorum after clearing its Bloom Nodes. Bring Feedback Resonator for Bloom Cankers, Tadpole depth support, Rebreather, oxygen, and route markers. The P10 footage shows the payoff: after the adaptation, Axum glyphs become readable and the Karakorum Power Plant control core becomes a real objective instead of a decorative alien room.

Field notes for Axum Vision

The unlock is only half the route

Axum Vision matters because it lets you read and operate alien-site information. Do not stop at the adaptation animation if the Power Plant rooms are still waiting.

Feedback Resonator is the safety tool

The Angel Comb route expects Bloom Canker clearing at range. Close approaches can work against you when oxygen, depth, and hostile caves stack together.

Read glyphs before pressing forward

The P10 glyph frame shows translated labels on the wall. That is your cue to slow down, read the room, and avoid treating every glowing object as the same objective.

Before starting Axum Vision

  • Heat Tolerance and earlier Angel Comb progress are already handled.
  • Feedback Resonator, Tadpole depth, Rebreather, and oxygen are ready.
  • Central Angel Comb and each Bloom Node route are marked clearly.
  • Inventory has space for scans, power-route materials, and repair items.
  • After the adaptation unlocks, return to Karakorum control rooms.

Video stills from the P10 Axum route

These P10 Bilibili frames show why Axum Vision is more than a checklist item: the route leads from deep structure approach, to readable glyphs, to Power Plant controls.

Approach the Power Plant with a clear exit line

Around 8:00, the route is already moving through the Karakorum structure field with 450 m route pressure on screen. Treat Axum Vision as a follow-up dive after Bloom cleanup, not a casual swim.

Axum Vision turns symbols into route information

Around 9:00, glyph labels appear over the glowing wall symbols. This is the practical reason to finish the adaptation before trying to understand Power Plant rooms.

Use the control core as the next objective marker

Around 11:00, the route reaches a large control core inside the alien facility. Once glyphs and screens are readable, the task becomes operating the right room in the right order.

Axum Vision route plan

Finish the earlier Angel Comb route first

Axum Vision is not the first adaptation route. If Heat Tolerance, basic Bloom cleanup, and Tadpole depth planning still feel shaky, solve those before pushing into Karakorum.

Prepare for ranged Bloom clearing

Current guides point to Feedback Resonator for the later Bloom Cankers around this route. Treat Sonic Resonator as the base tool and Feedback Resonator as the safer deep-route upgrade.

Use the three-node loop as your map

Subnautica 2 Guide lists western, southern, and eastern Bloom Nodes around the Angel Comb. The exact visual route can be messy, so keep returning to the central comb instead of trying to freestyle the whole field.

Return to the central Angel Comb

After the side nodes are clean, go back to the main Angel Comb and confirm the adaptation unlock. Leaving before the central handoff is the easiest way to arrive at Power Plant controls without the ability you came for.

Read the Axum glyphs

P10 shows glyph labels appearing over glowing symbols once the route is ready. Use those labels as room information: they tell you what kind of alien device you are looking at and where the next interaction belongs.

Operate Power Plant rooms in order

Subnautica 2 Guide ties Axum Vision to Axum Radial glyphs and polarized screens in the Karakorum Power Plant generator control rooms. Once the screens are readable, slow down and follow the room logic instead of wandering.

Bank the progress before another deep push

After a control core or screen advances the route, return if oxygen, batteries, or repairs are low. Axum Vision unlocks information; it does not remove the cost of deep travel.

Axum Vision checklist

NeedWhy it matters
Heat Tolerance progressConfirms you already understand Angel Comb and Bloom basics.
Feedback ResonatorClears later Bloom Cankers from a safer distance.
Tadpole depth supportThe route belongs to deeper Karakorum travel.
Rebreather and oxygenThree nodes plus control rooms can eat air.
Route markersMark the central comb, side paths, and exit line.
Repair and spare powerPower Plant runs are expensive when one return trip goes wrong.
Glyph reading follow-upAxum Vision pays off only when you use it on alien screens.

Do not treat readable glyphs as decoration

When Axum Vision starts translating symbols, the route is giving you instructions. Pause, read, and identify the room before touching the next control. Most confusion here comes from rushing past the information the adaptation just unlocked.
